Hired Joey Proper (claims to be the owner) to come out to repair a freezer on 1/10/15 that was starting to get warm, not making ice but kept the temp of a refrigerator. Charged $400.00 to repair a leak in the hose. He then gave me a one year warranty if it goes out to put the $400 towards a new evaporator. He left; the freezer made one ice cube and then started blowing hot air. I call and all I get, if he does answer is the run around. The first time he was supposed to come out it got delayed due to a family member having surgery. Second time he made an appointment but never showed; did this a third time too. Ensured that the BS was over and that he would be there the next day but then never showed. For the next week he would answer the phone and then hang up right away when I said “hello””. This has gone on for two weeks almost now. I am a retired/ disabled vet with a wife and 4 kids. I do not have the money to be handing out at this time when I will now have to turn around and pay someone else to fix the freezer

I would like to get my $400 back

plus what it will cost me for the difference on the mistake he made. Also

the lost wages that I received for the three days I took off work for him to fix the issue as he did not even show or call on most of those. The main thing is I do not want anyone else to go through what we did by hiring him. What will probably happen is I will take him to small court to re-coop any money that the judicial system sees fit.”
